Ladybug Kisses

I'm sharing my Ladybug Kisses card, it's full of heart...literally. This card is perfect for Valentine's Day, Anniversaries, love notes, or just because.

I used the following:

• Jaded Blossom's Gnome Friends: Ladybug Die, Ladybug Kisses Stamp & Outline Dies, Ladybug Faces, and Bitten Leaf Stencil.

• (MFT) My Favorite Things Watercolor Wash Free Form Die, and Blueprints 25 - 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Stitched Rectangle Die.

Ladybug Kisses

The heart-shaped glasses immediately set the tone - sweet, playful, and full of personality. I chose a leafy embossed frame to create movement and structure around the ladybug. Foam adhesive and vellum were added behind the ladybug, and foam adhesive to the frame to lift the design just enough to create soft shadows. I added three additional outlines to my sentiment for dimension.

This card is cheerful, layered, and full of personality, yet still simple and approachable.
