There is just something about sunflowers that makes me happy! 🌻 They’re bright, cheerful, warm, and just seem to bring a little sunshine wherever they appear.
So when I started creating with Stampin’ Up!’s Sunflower Fields Designer Series Paper, I knew I didn’t want to stop with just one project.
One sheet became a card...
then a scrapbook layout...
then a collection of Project Life cards...
And before I knew it, I had created an entire little Sunflower Fields collection! 🌻💛

🌻 Starting With a Card
I began with this sunflower card, keeping the design fairly simple so the beautiful sunflower paper could really shine.

One of the things I love about cardmaking is how quickly an idea can come together. Sometimes a relatively simple design lets the paper do most of the work—and this collection definitely deserves to be the star. 🌻
🌻 From Cardmaking to Scrapbooking
Next, I decided to see what the same collection would look like on a two-page scrapbook layout.
And this may be my favorite part of using one paper collection in several different ways.

The sunflower photographs were perfect for these papers, and I love how the greens, yellows, oranges, and warm earthy tones all work together.

🌻 And Then Came the Project Life Cards!
This is where I really started having fun.
After working on the larger projects, I still had so many ideas for these papers that I created a coordinating assortment of 3" × 4" and 4" × 6” Project Life cards.
